The lodge's location made it super easy to hit the trails in Catskill Park, just under 4 km away. There are fine views to take in at the nearby Big Indian Wilderness, about 4 km from the hotel, made each day of exploring a true joy.

Almost perfect.

I was shocked to find expired milk served to me, and the staff were way too busy drinking to care. Given the absurd price of our stay, I expected at least a complimentary upgrade or something. Instead, I got a dirty cedar tub and a diner vibe. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

This was a solid selection for a little getaway in Big Indian with good price-quality ratio. Make sure to check any special events in advance to avoid missing out on dining options.

We had such a great time soaking in the clawfoot tub in our suite and enjoying coffee delivered right to our door every morning. There are fire pits for s'mores and a cozy leisure room. Just a heads up, the breakfast ordering was a bit slow, but it was still a great stay overall 😊
